ZABA Cloud Customer - Challenging but successful story

The continuous growth of business needs and requirements, regulatory obligations, the expansion of the range of supporting processes, and especially the EURO conversion requirements, were a strong driver for Zagrebačka banka to embark on its Cloud adventure. The architecture before the migration did not leave additional resources for the needs of Euro activities, the focus was already on maintaining the existing situation, with a constant struggle to meet deadlines.It was necessary for business and IT users to establish a flexible and highly scalable system that would automate the processing and distribution of data with the purpose of relieving the time required to maintain it. There, the choice fell on the Exadata Cloud at Customer system. This is a story about the ups and downs of adopting new possibilities, but also limitations, and in general new paradigms of using it.
