Artificial neural networks are today a key element of many artificial intelligence systems. The architecture of artificial neural networks is motivated by biological neural networks. Basic architectures and learning methods of artificial neural networks are presented. Learning an artificial neural network is based on exposure to large amounts of data. After learning, artificial neural networks can be used for recognition of spatial and spatio-temporal patterns, data clustering and data classification. Training of artificial neural networks is demonstrated on several examples using suitable specialized free programs. Artificial neural networks have numerous practical applications.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
