Many approaches of classical software development cannot be directly applied to database development. This talk will present an efficient development process that solved this problem for our team.The following components of our development process will be discussed:- Project management with Jira- Data modeling using the model-first approach- Source control and deployment of database objects using Liquibase and Git- Source control and deployment of APEX applications with SQLcl- Automation with JenkinsThe lecture is aimed at database and APEX developers who want to improve the development process within their team in terms of quality and efficiency.

Patrizia Regenberg, author
Patrizia is a Principle Consultant Oracle APEX and Project Manager at Sulzer GmbH in Munich. Also due to her studies as an industrial engineer, she loves to standardize and optimize processes. This is also reflected in her everyday project work: Patrizia constantly strives to make the work in her team more efficient while achieving high product quality and customer satisfaction. When she's not reviewing code, she's thinking up fancy UIs.
