Through this lecture, we will try to convey our experience in the implementation of eServices, a central information system for electronic business in a large organization such as HEP Group. It covers the entire process of e-invoicing (receiving and issuing) and SEPA projects (integration into a single payment area). The project has all the advantages that modern technology enables, speeds up and automates business processes, reduces costs and potentially creates added value in business. The greatest challenges to the project were compliance with legal obligations and deadlines for implementation, dynamic cooperation and integration with external organizations such as banks and intermediaries, and adaptation of existing processes within the HEP Group (complex and scattered system as the starting point).Along with the presentation of the implemented solution, we will demonstrate all the obstacles and dilemmas that we have encountered in development and decisions that we had to made in order to achieve set goals. Extra bonus of this lecture will be the insights given both from the IT side and the business side.

Lidija Mandić Čobanov, born on April 4. 1986, in Mostar, Bosnia and HerzegovinaShe gained primary and secondary education in her hometown. She enrolled in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in 2004. After successful completion of the studies, she was employed in 2010 at Combis d.o.o., as a Software Engineer, where she participated on projects based on Microsoft technologies for HT, Agrokor, MINGO, Telekom and others. Petra Lindi, born on October 20. 1978, in Zagreb, CroatiaIn 2002, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. At the same faculty, in 2011, she finished postgraduate scientific studies. She has over 17 years of working experience in the field of finance. She is currently working as Head of Department at HEP's Corporate Finance and Treasury. Participates in all major strategic finance projects that require implementation of standards throughout the HEP Group.
