What expects the planet Earth and the Solar System in the near and long term future? What are the prospects of our galaxy and how will the Universe end? What is the future of mankind? How can we face climate changes, artificial intelligence, globalization, and technological progress? What kind of future do we want for ourselves?
All this and much more will be answered on the invited lecture, and will be a base for further contemplation and discussion.

Ivica Puljak, author
Ivica Puljak hrvatski je fizičar, profesor i političar. Najpoznatiji je po sudjelovanju u istraživanju i otkrivanju Higgsovog bozona sa znanstvenicima u Švicarskoj u CERN-u, Europskom vijeću za nuklearna istraživanja.
Poznat je i kao profesor na splitskom fakultetu. Bavi politikom i član je stranke Pametno, čiji je bio nositelj liste na izborima za EU parlament.
Izuzetno se trudi popularizirati znanost u školama i dati joj veću vrijednost u Hrvatskoj.
